Various Projects

Greetings To You All,

Here are some pictures of various projects I have been working on. I created a reproduction French Army Letterhead from the Napoleonic era. One of many different letterheads used by Napoleon's army staff during his reign. Another is a reproduction British Army letter that authorizes the bearer to draw bills from the the army Paymaster General. Again this is a Regency era document which would be perfect for British soldier reenactment during the Napoleonic Wars.
On a different note, I create some reproduction 1960 French 100 franc banknotes for a friend as a Xmas gift. Finally I created some more reproductions of French Revoultionary War Assignat banknotes for a Napoleonic reenactment group in Europe. Keep your imagination free.

18th Century Trade Cards

Greetings,

I have been working on reproducing some 18th century London merchant trade cards for some Revolutionary War reenactors. Definately an interesting request. I have produced about 10 differnt ones of various merchant types from booksellars to furniture and wig makers. I had a lot of fun making these because, I very much enjoy 18th century history. Tolkien Stuff

Greetings All,
I have been dabbling into some expirements with Tolkien paper props. Lots of great resources out there for Tolkien Geeks such as myself. Here are some expirements that are still in development. I was in a mood to create pages torn from books either from a certain distinguished Hobbit or "borrowed" from the library of Minas Tirith. Also a certain letter left by a important Dwarf.
Lots of work to do to bring these up to better qaulity. At your service.

Sincerely,

Professor Otto the Confused

Ploughman Notes

Greetings to All,

New reproduction banknotes off the press. Irish Ploughman  1 and 5 shilling banknotes from 1938 and 1939. These were particularly educational for me during my reasearch. An interesting series of notes that appeared between Ireland's Series A and Series B banknote production. These were a request for a customer. Stay tuned for new posting. At your service.

A New Idea

Greetings,

Here is a new piece I am currently working on. It's the beginnings of a old medieval scroll. I have more drawings that are in the works and will post them soon. The scroll is planned for 5 illustrations within the scroll along with some text. I am not sure of the text/fonts or even language yet. When finished, it will be used for a Lovecraftian LARP project(as of now). At your service.

Props Photos

Greetings,

It just occured to me that these photos of props that I constructed were never published here. So I thought I would put them up for you all to enjoy.
The first is a storage box for a dueling pistol I created as a project. The box had to have a noteable ritual aspect to it. The box was designed to be the ritual one gentleman would undertake when debating to involve himself in a pistol duel.
The final one is a travel pamplett designed for the would be first time traveler aboard an Airship. Mutiple copies of the Airship were made and sold at a Sci-Fi CON in Texas.  As always, I am at your service.

A Little Experiment

Greetings,

Another Prop experiment in the works. I am trying to get a good match for the British Army Martini-Henry Cartridge paper wraps 1879-1881. They apparently came in 20 round bundles and were wrapped with twin and a small dab of wax on the back. Some more detail work needs to be done to the Fonts as well as I am trying to find a good paper match. At your service.
